Today was another one of those gloomy and rainy days. It was actually colder than I thought. In the morning I was thinking to myself, a peacoat will be warm enough for the day. Oh boy was I wrong. I definitely underestimated the weather. Thankfully, I carried around my trusty umbrella or else I would have been soaked. Once again, I wore another camel coat. This time in a lighter tan colour, which I think suits my skin tone better. From all the coats I own, I would definitely have to say this outer piece is in my top three favourites. This fits perfectly for a petite size like me. The length of the coat hits right above the knees and the sleeves cut not too short or long for my arms. The shoulders are more structured and it fits well for my body frame. The best part would be the waist tie allowing you to cinch around your waist. You could wear it without the tie, but personally the tied waist looks nicer since it wraps around my body shape. I wore black leather pants and ankle booties to finish off the look.
I have been looking for a new pair of glasses recently and I came across Salvator Ferragamo eyewear. I fell in love with this pair the moment I laid eyes on it. The thin golden nose bridge is one thing I love, but most importantly the size of the lens. It frames my face and the slight cat eye slims down the appearance of my face as well. The colour was also what captured my eye. Instead of the regular black or brown frame, this eyewear comes in teal. The glasses definitely compliment my outfit and was the perfect touch for a laid back attire.
